We are pleased to provide you with some information regarding our hotel that you may find useful when planning your visit to our hotel. The building was completed in 1905 just before the great earthquake on April 18, 1906. The building was refurbished in 1981.
There are no steps in the main lobby area. The front desk is located directly in front of the entry. Check in is at the reception desk. Staff is also available to assist you with complimentary coffee and tea provided in the lobby area.
There are no rooms on the first floor of the hotel. All rooms are accessible by stairs or an elevator. The vintage elevator cab size is 51” by 53”. A Queen bedded room is located on the third floor.
The hallway leading to both rooms is 41"deep and the entry door is supported by a 41" clear push side landing. The room entry door creates a clear 29" opening when the door is open to 90 degrees. Our ADA rooms are equipped with a full bathroom which has a bathtub with grab bars. The wall adjacent to the toilet also has a grab bar. Closets in our ADA rooms have accessible shelving and rods. Our safes are located in the closet on a lower shelf.
